Father's Day

We took Cole to the Carlsbad ward for father's day and left Hannah at home with Grandma since it was her naptime. Daddy got a little bike ride in the afternoon, and for dinner we tried out our new favorite Thai restaurant in Oceanside with my mom. The last picture is of Randy on Hannah duty... we took turns chasing her thru the parking lot since she did not want to sit still and eat. Cole, on the other hand, is super at going out to dinner. He is also good at going shopping and pretty much anywhere else we want to take him...he never makes a peep!

From Hannah plays fetch with Rio

Hannah has learned how to play fetch with Rio. Maybe now they will BOTH leave us alone and play nicely by themselves (just kidding!!)

Hannah meets baby Cole

Hannah was quite taken with her new baby brother. She met him on his birthday at the hospital. ( We snuck her in after visiting hours were already over and luckily nobody really cared :)

He's finally Here!

And what a handsome boy he is!! Cole Phillip Burkholz was born June 18th at 2: 25 pm at Palomar Medical Center. I started having contractions about 1 am when I got off work. Of course, I was was up all night not sleeping, so I had time to get ready, take a shower, get my stuff together, did a few pages in Hannah's scrapbook (hehe) and woke Randy up at about 7 am to go to the hospital. When we got there I was about 5-6 cm dialated so we were admitted. From there, everything went pretty smoothly and baby was born without any problems. He was littler than we expected, at 5 lbs, 15 oz! Don't ask me why, I thought he was going to be bigger than Hannah (but apparently it was all my own fat, HA!) Anyway he was healthy and we are so grateful he is here!

Baby's Nursery is Done!

We are finally done with the nursery, with a week to spare! LOL Thanks to everyone who helped, including our neighbor Peter and Randy who painted, and my mom who made the curtains. It looks great, if I do say so myself :)

6th year anniversary

For our 6th year anniversary, we went down to La Jolla and ate at Azul. The restaurant we ate at when Randy proposed (Top of the Cove) was closed for remodeling, but this one was just as good! Aunt Karyn came to stay with Hannah. We walked around outside and went to the exact spot where Randy proposed. Can't believe it has been 6 years already!!

Hannah mops the floor

From Hannah cleans the house

I've noticed that Hannah likes to wipe things up with a towel or wipes- thinking I'd better milk this one!!
