Hannah's new pool

Hannah had a few of her little friends over last week to swim in her new pool! It is still a bit chilly but they had fun. Hannah wore her new wetsuit so she could stay warm. Now all she needs is a surfboard!

Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday, we went to church at the Carlsbad Ward and then in the afternoon Aunt Karyn came over and we had a little egg hunt in the front yard. Karyn kept steeling Hannah's eggs out of her basket and re-hiding them, so she hunted for over 30 minutes! She had fun! Then Mommy had to go back to work :( Oh well, at least I got to be there for a little while!

Hidden Canyon Park

This is one of Hannah's favorite nearby parks. She likes to go down the slide and climb through all the tunnels. And of course, the swing. She says "weeeee weeee" when she gets on the swing :) Compared to a lot of the other little kids, she is pretty agile and pretty brave for her age, not afraid to climb all the way up and go down the slide by herself!

Carosel Mall

Monday morning my mom and I took Hannah over to the carosel mall in Carlsbad to ride the merry go round and see the Easter bunny. She liked the Easter bunny from afar but wasn't too excited to sit on his lap! She also got to ride on the play cars and taste the sample from the smoothie shop. Big fun!

NOVA trio

Randy and I took advantage of Grandma being here and had an afternoon out at Seaport Village. We checked out our friend Toby and his band the NOVA trio, who were playing there on Sunday afternoon. Toby's son Lucas who is 2 joined them onstage with his guitar. It was really cute and he drew quite a crowd! Randy and I were taking silly pics of each other with our new camera.

Swimming at the YMCA

Hannah got her first swimming lesson of the season at the YMCA the weekend my mom was here....she was a little scared at first, but by the end she was having a good time. She wore the new rash guard Daddy gave her :)

Playgroup Easter Egghunt

Our playgroup had an easter egg hunt the weekend before Easter. Hannah had fun "hunting" for eggs (well, all the eggs were just out on a big grassy field so she basically just had to pick them up and put them in her basket) and she liked the treats she found inside, especially the chocolate ones!

After the egg hunt, Hannah and Daddy played a little basketball game together.
