Randy the Mountain Man

Randy took Hannah to Utah for Memorial Day weekend to see the Burkholz side of the family. Word is, she was the hit of the party and everyone loved her. Not suprising :) She has 11 cousins who were excited to see her! While they were there, Randy and his friend Rick climbed Mt. Olympus which is apparently pretty steep, with 4000 ft of elevation gain over a mile! Whoa!!!! They had to use fancy equipment like crampons and ice axes. What a studly husband I have, yes? Hannah and Clarise's playdate

We went up to Redlands last Friday to visit our friends James and Emily. Emily is battling lymphoma and very sick. James is an AWESOME daddy to Clarise, who is 2 1/2 years old. Hannah and Clarise (Jo-jo) had fun playing together; the last time they saw each other was when Clarise was 1 1/2 and Hannah was only about 5 months old! This time they had a little more to do! I got them matching dresses from Target and they were excited to be twins so they ran around the yard and jumped on the couch together! They look like they could be sisters with their blond hair and blue eyes! For more pics click here.

Mother's Day

Here are some pictures we took of us on Mother's Day. My mom was down so we all went to brunch at a little sidewalk cafe in Encinitas with my sisters. Hannah was NOT in the mood to sit still so she explored the joint, and destroyed my mother's day rose they were handing out to all the moms. Oh well. Here is a pic of MY beautiful mother also!

Hannah loves the Hot tub!

We finally broke down and got the hot tub we were planning to get for the last....year or so.... Hannah LOVES it!!! We keep the temp about 98 degrees so it is just perfect to stay in for a long time for baby and pregnant mama! Her new favorite word is HOTTUB (pronouced....hopta)

Hannah at Karyn's school

My mom and I took Hannah over to my sister Karyn's fourth grade class at Sage Canyon Elementary for a little "baby show and tell." All the kids were excited to see Hannah, and she was happy to be the center of attention, of course!
